Defence Forces Consider Buying Unmanned Reconnaissance Aircraft

HELSINGIN SANOMAT – The Finnish Defence Forces are considering the possibility of buying drones for aerial surveillance. The Finnish Army has been in touch with more than ten different manufacturers of unmanned flying aircraft.  The Finnish military is interested in buying unarmed drones weighing about ten kg. each, capable of sending live video, and infrared camera pictures to a base station at a radius of a couple of dozen kilometres.  Read More
