Google Launches Google Earth Builder, Aims at Geospatial Software Market

Google is going after the enterprise geospatial market with a planned launch of Earth Builder, a tool that allows companies to overlay data on Google Earth and Google Maps. With the move, Earth Builder will compete with geospatial desktop software. Google plans to take Earth Builder to key verticals such as oil and gas and government.
