Agricultural lands can continue to be used for other purposes in Turkey, the Constitutional Court has ruled in the latest round of a 13-year controversy pitting environmentalists against a multinational corporation. The court struck down an attempt to change a law often referred to in the media as the “Cargill Law” for its unofficial associations with the multinational Cargill Corporation.
