Greenland government gives licenses to companies to explore and produce oil and gas. International energy companies have been vying for a stake in Greenland’s oil and gas reserves for months, and now the licenses for exploration and production have been awarded. Last week on Friday, the government of Greenland decided on the allocation of the individual license blocks in the part of Baffin Bay that belongs to the country.
