THE BALTIC TIMES – A plan to modernize and link up Lithuania’s railways to those of the rest of the Baltic countries – along with its Eastern and Western European neighbors – is slowly moving towards reality. The project is called Rail Baltica. Set for completion in 2013, it’s one of the largest of the European Union’s 30 priority and axis projects.
