Chairman Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Shakeel Durring has said that 12 new hydro power projects were discussed in Pakistan-China Joint Energy Working Group (JEWG) meetings that concluded on August 2. Out of the 12 projects, WAPDA has six, while the remaining three will be setup by the private sector, Durrani said in an interview.
