Timmons Group’s Asset Management Practice Continues to Expand

Richmond, VA- May 21, 2015 — Timmons Group, a leader in enterprise geospatial products and services is growing their Asset Management (AMS) practice with the recent addition of six new hires.  Timmons Group’s AMS practice is led by Ron Butcher with 20 plus years of professional experience.

“I am ecstatic that our practice has almost doubled in size.  There is so much potential within the Asset Management market as well as the dominance of Cityworks within the market. We are looking forward to the opportunities ahead, and believe we have formed a great team to deliver exceptional results,” said Ron Butcher, Timmons Group’s AMS Practice Leader.

The recent growth includes six new additions to the practice:

Lauren Sullivan was recently hired as a Senior PLL Analyst. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of California.  Lauren has 5 years of GIS experience and will work directly with clients to configure and implement the Cityworks Server PLL software.

Michael Edwards has been with Timmons Group for two years and is now a PLL Analyst.  Michael is a graduate of Virginia Tech and received his Masters from Virginia Commonwealth University.  As a PLL Analyst, Michael is assisting in the configuration and implementation of Cityworks Server PLL (Permitting, Licensing, Land).

Andrey Suntsev has joined the Asset Management practice as a GIS Applications Developer.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Research from South Ural State University.  He is assisting in client management and satisfaction with integration and interfacing of Cityworks Server with Enterprise Systems.

Zhiqiang Zhu has joined the team as a Cityworks Interface Developer. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Computer Science from South China University of Technology.  He is on the team to provide user interface design for Cityworks implementations.

Brian Ketchum is an AMS Analyst, in charge of the configuration and implementation of Cityworks Server AMS software.  Brian graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s in Geography in 2014.  Brian will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and assisting with the data process for implementations.

Patrick Hess will also be assisting in the configuration and implementation of Cityworks Server AMS software. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Geography from Virginia Tech.  He has joined the team to support in client management, systems configuration, and implementing the final Cityworks software.
