SuperGIS Mobile Tour 3.0 (for Android), the mobile tour system developed by SuperGeo, has been successfully applied in the Industry-Academy cooperation hosted by the Great Roots Forestry SPA Resort and Chihlee Institute of Technology as the guide service application.
Considering the rapid development in tourism and travel industry, the Department of Sports, Health and Leisure Studies, Chihlee Institute of Technology has cooperated with the Great Roots Forestry SPA Resort, integrating the resources from school and industry to develop and promote the resort guide service. To provide the tourists with the easy-to-use mobile tour application with GPS and GIS function, SuperGIS Mobile Tour 3.0, adopted in the cooperation, integrates the attraction information of the resort. Tourists can get the description, direction and location of the attractions during the tour through the handheld mobile devices that have already installed SuperGIS Mobile Tour 3.0.

SuperGIS Mobile Tour 3.0, the mobile GIS application specially designed for outdoor mobile guide, combines GPS, GIS and AR technologies; with the management tool—SuperGIS Mobile Tour Manager, users can create unlimited number of tour project file (*.smt). Through the management and combination of scenic attraction and route info, users are able to design the different thematic guide services with abundant contents such as text introduction, video, voice and pictures.  Read More
