SuperGeo Hold SuperGIS Training in Kuwait

SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, held SuperGIS training program in Kuwait for “Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research” (KISR). KISR is to carry out applied scientific research related to industries, natural resources, etc. to the economic and social development for Kuwait.

The Geo-Informatics Center at KISR, for example, affects the expenditure planning and application development of GIS technologies for the whole country. Considering the successful sales performance and the high potential in Kuwait market, SuperGeo and its distributor, International Integrated Environmental Services Ltd. (IIES), co-planned the professional SuperGIS training course and SuperGeo presentation. Not only the GIS experts at the Center, but also the representatives from other departments at KISR, related government sectors, such as EPA, MPW, as well as Kuwait University, also joined in the presentation and meeting. SuperGIS software and applications have received very positive feedback from the audience.

“We are very happy with the support and software of SuperGeo company,” said Dr. Thamer Alrashidi, the Director of IIES. “Here in Kuwait and the Middle East, we expect SuperGIS software to replace expensive GIS products existing on current market very soon.” SuperGeo will also be exhibiting at Map Middle East 2011 to demonstrate SuperGIS software for more users in the Middle East.
