SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, 2015 — A venture-backed Silicon Valley company, Spaceknow is launching an online service for the automated analysis of satellite imagery to debut at the GEOINT 2015 Symposium.

The company delivers economic insights from space and makes satellite imagery relevant and timely for everyday human activity. The new cooperation with CloudEO will connect Spaceknow‘s unique cloud-based on-the-fly imagery analytics with CloudEO’s comprehensive offering of geospatial data. Dr. Pavel Machalek, founder of Spaceknow, states, “we are very excited about this new partnership that will give many new user groups easy access to our geo services.” And Dr. Ursula Benz, COO of CloudEO confirms: “Our focus is to simplify the geo business of our customers. Therefore, we are very glad that we can soon provide our users with Spaceknow’s exciting cloud-based viewing and analytics services to satellite imagery.”

The GEOINT 2015 Symposium will be taking place from June 22-25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Spaceknow is founded by a former NASA physicist, Dr. Pavel Machalek, and Jerry Javornicky, a former CEO of two profitable startups. A senior government official offered his thoughts on the project: “First, accelerate data to answers. To borrow a term from Dr. Pavel Machalek, founder of Spaceknow, Inc., we will drive from analyzing Big Data toward realizing the potential of Fast Data.”

With no geographical boundaries, the data science and design-fueled company that is Spaceknow is steadily creating and developing new, visual, and rich content to be served to consumers in countries around the world. Those interested in seeing what Spaceknow has to offer or to meet the founders, visit booth #3063 during the GEOINT 2015 Symposium this June.
