SIIS Partners with SkyFi to Bring Native 25cm SpaceEye-T Imagery and Tasking to Global Marketplace

SI Imaging Services (SIIS), a South Korean provider of Very Very High Resolution (VVHR) Earth observation solutions, has partnered with SkyFi, the leading Earth intelligence platform, to make native 25cm VVHR optical satellite imagery and tasking from SpaceEye-T directly accessible to global users.

SpaceEye-T was developed with proprietary technology and private capital by Satrec Initiative, the parent company of SIIS. It delivers a native 25cm ground sample distance (GSD) from an orbital altitude of 500km. At the 25cm level, users can distinguish individual vehicle types, resolve fine linear features like lane markings, and detect subtle physical changes that would otherwise be lost in lower-resolution data.

The partnership enables customers to seamlessly order SpaceEye-T’s high-precision data through SkyFi’s intuitive web, mobile, and API platforms. By leveraging SkyFi’s user-friendly infrastructure and extensive global distribution network, SIIS aims to deliver its VVHR capability worldwide without long-term commitments or complex contract processes.

To translate SpaceEye-T’s high performance into actionable intelligence, users must be able to acquire the data they need rapidly and on-demand based on a reliable schedule. Through SkyFi, SIIS provides direct access to SpaceEye-T’s Assured Tasking service. Operating on a first-come, first-served orbital slot reservation system, Assured Tasking eliminates the long delays—often spanning weeks or months due to priority bumping—typically associated with traditional satellite tasking. Combined with SkyFi’s instant catalog search and checkout for archive imagery, this integrated workflow allows customers to obtain world-class geospatial intelligence in just a few clicks.

Furthermore, all imagery acquired through tasking or archive orders is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, giving customers the freedom to modify, process, and redistribute the data for both commercial and non-commercial purposes—a significant advantage over more restrictive licensing terms common in the industry.
