RIEGL will be attending, exhibiting and presenting at ILMF!

International LiDAR Mapping Forum (ILMF) is a technical conference and exhibition showcasing the latest airborne, terrestrial, and underwater LiDAR, as well as emerging remote-sensing and data collection tools and technologies.

Connect with hundreds of professionals seeking LiDAR and other 3D geospatial data collection technologies to support transport, urban modeling, coastal zone mapping, utility asset management and more.

RIEGL will be exhibiting at Booths 86 and 92. Be sure to come by both of our booths to learn about the latest RIEGL hardware and software and to meet with our team of RIEGL experts.

At Booth 92, we will have the LMS-Q1560 airborne laser scanning system, our RiCOPTER-based unmanned LiDAR solution, and our state-of-the-art VP-1 helipod on display!

The LMS-Q1560 is a dual channel airborne laser scanning system, perfectly suited for a variety of airborne surveying missions. The scanner is a high performance, fully integrated cutting-edge surveying tool. Powerful laser sources, Multiple-Time-Around processing, echo digitization and waveform analysis allows operation at various flight altitudes, which makes it ideally suited for ultra-wide area aerial surveys and complex urban environment aerial surveys.

The RiCOPTER is a high performance unmanned multi-rotor aircraft equipped with RIEGL‘s VUX-SYS airborne laser scanner to offer a fully integrated turnkey solution for professional UAS surveying missions.

The VP-1 helipod is an ultra-compact, lightweight pod, integrated with the VUX-SYS sensor, to be mounted on manned helicopters. It can be used for applications such as precision agriculture, flood zone mapping, emergency management planning, accident investigation, power line, railway and pipeline inspection, terrain and canyon mapping, and many more.

At booth 86, we will be hosting a product launch of our latest state-of-the-art systems on Monday, February 22 at 3:00 PM. This will be the worldwide launch of our newest systems. Be the first to see what RIEGL has to offer. Don’t miss this exciting unveiling at ILMF this year!

In addition to our exhibition and unveiling this year, we will also be presenting at ILMF:

At the pre-conference product previews, Andres Vargas, Kinematic Integrations and Applications Engineer of RIEGL USA, will be presenting on Monday, February 22 from 10:42 AM-11:06 AM. He will be presenting on the comprehensive airborne laser scanning systems suite that RIEGL has to offer!

Dr. Andreas Ullrich, CTO of RIEGL, will be presenting “What a Difference a Detector Makes: A Discussion on Linear LiDAR and Geiger-Mode LiDAR” on Wednesday, February 24 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Learn about the unrivaled performance of linear LiDAR, when compared with Geiger Mode LiDAR, in reliably generating high-resolution digital elevation maps of densely canopied areas,  or in complex environments where data from both man-made inventory like powerlines and undergrowth vegetation have to be acquired in a single take.

Dr. Andreas Ullrich also will be participating on a discussion panel on “Current and Coming Innovations in Linear LiDAR Technology” on Tuesday, February 23 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM.

RIEGL is looking forward to a successful conference and to welcoming you to ILMF!
