RG has teamed up with Flodim, the French sonar specialists, to bring a full range of sonar survey services to the UK. Commercial operations will commence in November 2010 with field units based in Deganwy, North Wales as well as in Manosque in the South of France. We will offer offshore operations from early 2011.
Sonar surveys provide an accurate 3D computed model of a fluid-filled cavity based on thousands of positional measurements acquired by an acoustic scanning probe. The equipment is of proprietary design and features a fully tiltable head to ensure full coverage of the roof and floor at distances up to 200m.
