Registration for INSPIRE ANNEX II and III Data Specifications

Registration for INSPIRE ANNEX II and III data specifications testing still open The INSPIRE Team has already received over 45 registrations from SDICs and LMOs to test the INSPIRE Annex II and III Specifications that will become available on the 20th June 2011. The testing activities will take place between 20 June and 21 October 2011. Details can be found in the Call for Participation document.

The testing should mainly focus on transformation feasibility. However, where
possible, transformed data (compliant with the proposed schemas) should be made
available for subsequent fitness for purpose testing.

The testing will be based on the draft INSPIRE data specifications v2.0
developed by the Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) for the INSPIRE Annex II and III
themes:

2. Land cover
3. Orthoimagery
4. Geology
Annex III
1. Statistical units
2. Buildings
3. Soil
4. Land use
5. Human health and safety
6. Utility and governmental services
7. Environmental monitoring facilities
8. Production and industrial facilities
9. Agricultural and aquacultural facilities
10. Population distribution, demography
11. Area management/restriction/regulation zones and reporting units
12. Natural risk zones
13. Atmospheric conditions
14. Meteorological geographical features
15. Oceanographic geographical features
16. Sea regions
17. Bio-geographical regions
18. Habitats and biotopes
19. Species distribution
20. Energy resources
21. Mineral resources
NOTE Despite of the fact Annex I themes data specifications will not be the
subject of consultations testing participants are welcome to consider them where
possible and needed.
