Payment for Content Online 2011 – Paywalls and New Structures for Digital Business

  • Rating12345

As News International newspapers in the UK assess the effect of paywalls launched earlier this year, this seminar will take a look at the latest methods media organisations are employing to monetise their content online. Planned sessions examine the emerging business models being used to attract, collect and protect revenue and look at what consumers are willing to pay for media. There will also be analysis of the success of paywalls and their impact on production and standards, as well as the prospects for subscription, ‘freemium’ and ad-supported delivery.

We are delighted that Guy Di Piazza, Associate Director, Media, KPMG; and Dominic Young, Director of Strategy and Product Development, News International will be delivering keynote addresses at this seminar.
