Optech and DiMAC Announce the Release of Next-generation Camera Controllers

Optech Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced lidar andimaging survey instruments, announced today a tighter technical integration with the DiMAC ULTRALiGHT+ product line. New packaging, specifically conceived for lidar mapping solutions, takes advantage of recent technology advances for amore robust and flexible design.
The DiMAC ULTRALiGHT+ is a high-resolution mapping camera with fully-embedded Forward Motion Compensation(FMC) technology for an exceptional data product. The new camera controller increases data reliability with solid statedata storage capability and robust system status monitoring. Built into a standard 19” rack, the new camera controller isalso a direct fit with Optech’s ALTM Airborne Laser Terrain Mapper products. “Our clients look to Optech to provide a variety of active and passive imaging products for their application requirements,”said Michael Sitar, Optech’s Airborne Survey Products Manager. “Our recent acquisition of DiMAC enables us to offermore robust, integrated and fully-supported imaging solutions that would not otherwise be possible from independentvendors alone.
