Optech and Cardinal Systems Announce Joint Initiative

  • Rating12345
Optech Incorporated and Cardinal Systems are pleased to announce a joint development initiative covering Cardinal's VR suite of photogrammetric and lidar processing products. Under the terms of the agreement Optech and Cardinal Systems agree to jointly enhance existing software and develop new software solutions for Optech’s industry-leading line of imaging products, including Optech’s new line of multispectral and interline frame cameras.

“This is a synergistic partnership. Cardinal’s cutting-edge information extraction software is very complementary to Optech's world-class line of imaging and lidar sensors. We are excited about the possibilities,” said Don Carswell, CEO of Optech Incorporated.

“Both Optech and Cardinal's traditional and emerging markets create common software goals that make this a unique opportunity. These are extraordinary times and we look forward to the implementation of these goals. Optech is one of the most highly respected and accomplished companies in the industry, and we are privileged to work with them," said Mike Kitaif, Manager of Software Development for Cardinal Systems. "We believe this collaboration will augment our concentration on the development of leading-edge technology for our clients in the geospatial community."
