MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica Opens Registration

The event MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica in 2012, the largest gathering of geotechnology industry in Latin America, held May 29 thru 31 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo (SP), is selecting success stories in the area of geospatial information sharing. The selected projects will be part of lectures and debates programming of the event. Click here to submit your work.

The authors of the chosen stories are invited to participate as speakers in the seminars and forums at MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica, presenting their work to an audience made up by users, technicians and decision makers of the geotechnology industry. Find out the complete event program.

In 2011, more than 100 speakers and debaters were part of MundoGEO#Connect program, which took place from June 14 thru 16. Representatives of private companies, public institutions and nongovernmental organizations were there. Here’s everything that happened in MundoGEO#Connect 2011 and downloadable files of the lectures in pdf format.

“Since its very beginning, MundoGEO#Connect aims to be a collaborative event,” said Eduardo Freitas, technical coordinator. “We have done online surveys to define the format, themes and topics of the event, and now we have opened an opportunity for the community to submit their success stories,” he concludes.

Those interested in submitting a story to MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica in 2012 have until February 10 to send their sum-up and curriculum. The approved stories will be released on February 24, at the MundoGEO portal and site of the event.
