Leica Geosystems Germany started its own GNSS Network RTK service on April 1st. SmartNet Germany is based on a close partnership between SAPOS , the service of Surveying Authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany and Leica Geosystems GmbH Vertrieb. The new GNSS Network service uses high quality data and coordinates provided by SAPOS® reference stations itself. Leica Geosystems delivers accurate correction data throughout the nation, allowing to directly generate highly accurate and traceable coordinates, for a wide variety of positioning tasks.
SmartNet Germany is offering a nationwide generation of coordinates from one provider, for all Leica Geosystems GNSS products, including the Leica GPS500, GPS1200, and the new Viva GNSS series. Users will benefit from a simple handling of a turnkey service
