Leica Geosystems and Critigen Partner for GIS Asset Collection and Management Market

  • Rating12345

Leica Geosystems and Critigen have entered into a formal partnership to meet increased demand for improved Asset Collection and Management solutions.
Many organisations are now placing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the centre of their asset management operations and are demanding better data to help them better understand the location, condition and nature of assets they are responsible for.  Rather than treating asset collection and asset management as separate operations, Asset Collection and Management workflows are now being integrated into one process to improve the quality and integrity of the central data repository.  This provides users with access to better and more reliable information to improve the ongoing management and maintenance of critical assets.
Collectively, Critigen and Leica Geosystems have a highly regarded heritage in the geospatial sector with proven capabilities and experience in delivering world class solutions for both the Asset Collection and Management and GIS sectors.  Leica Zeno series GIS case studies to date have demonstrated compelling RoI returns to provide clients with richer and more accurate data while achieving time and cost savings in the region of 50%.
Mike Cooper, Leica Geosystems Regional Market Manager EMEA, commented: “Our global navigation and satellite positioning Leica Zeno series GIS solutions have been engineered to provide easily configurable and simplified asset collection workflows that integrate fully with enterprise GIS software.  All our ruggedized hardware has been designed and optimised to capture accurate and richly attributed data quickly in the most demanding work environments.  Working with Critigen and their impressive record in delivering high quality information management and IT solutions enables us to provide improved client value with a complete end to end, Asset Collection and Management solution”.
Simon Cuciurean, Critigen’s Managing Director for Europe and the Middle East commented “Our collective aim is to provide affordable and fully integrated asset solutions, ensuring that our clients have access to the best, most accurate and richest data available wherever that information is needed. By working with Leica Geosystems in this increasingly important area, we believe we can achieve this”.
