Learn to Validate Data Quality with Esri Technology

  • Rating12345

Your organization needs accurate geographic information system (GIS) data. ArcGIS Data Reviewer software from Esri gives you the ability to validate the integrity of that data automatically.

To learn how to use this extension to ArcGIS for Desktop and ArcGIS for Server, tune in to the live training seminar Increase Data Quality with ArcGIS Data Reviewer on October 17, 2013.

You will learn why data quality is important and how you can use ArcGIS Data Reviewer to ensure that your data meets quality requirements using automated and visual review tools. You also will discover how to use data checks and analysis tools to assess various aspects of your data such as spatial, attribute, and logical consistency. In addition, the seminar will cover how to identify and manage inconsistencies and publish review results to better inform people about the quality of the data they are using.

After viewing this seminar, you will understand how to do the following:

·        Identify elements of data quality and sources of data quality requirements

·        Automate data validation using configurable checks

·        Visually review data using both ArcGIS for Desktop and web-based tools

·        Implement a repeatable process to manage the correction and verification of errors detected during review

·        Produce data quality reports and publish web-based, interactive data quality dashboards

This seminar is intended for GIS professionals who edit, maintain, or perform quality assurance/quality control on data and for data managers who ensure that data quality requirements are met.

Having basic knowledge of how to maintain a geodatabase is helpful but not required.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
