Travelers to Israel can now participate in a new reforestation project, “Forester for a Day,” every Sunday through Friday in northern Israel’s Carmel Forest region. Initiated by the KKL-JNF, the project allows participants to assist park rangers in clearing underbrush, pruning trees and preparing fire breaks and forest paths in the Carmel Region.
