Shaanxi Bureau of Surveying and Mapping (SHASM), established in 1957, is directly under the leadership of State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping of China (SBSM). It is one of the largest and most important surveying and mapping production base in China. Moreover, SHASM also performs surveying and mapping administration within Shaanxi Province. It mainly undertakes related surveying and mapping projects and performs the involved administration functions, like national and provincial fundamental and critical projects, as well as the administration of all the concerned works done within Shaanxi Province. There established 15 units within SHASM, and there are 2159 staff members, which including 113 senior engineers, 427 engineers, and among them 77 are master degree or doctor degree holders.
