Guy Perkins Joins Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging

With the recent acquisition of Earth Resource Mapping (ER Mapper), Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging is pleased to announce that Guy Perkins, former CEO, will join the executive management team as Vice President, Global Services. The acquisition further enhances Leica Geosystems’ enterprise delivery capabilities with geospatial image processing tools for preparing, managing, compressing and deploying imagery. Perkins will greatly assist Leica Geosystems’ in the development of integrating services for vertical markets and the overall deployment of enterprise solutions. With over 20 years of experience, Perkins has extensive knowledge in the geospatial industry.

Perkins has held various positions with ESRI in South Asia and Australia, including Project and Training Manager, Technical Director and Australia Managing Director. Perkins has also worked for PSMA Australia and MapInfo.
