Grant Boosts Surrey Satellite Scheme

Guildford-based small satellite company Surrey Satellite Technology has won a £770,000 grant to begin the design phase of a technology demonstration satellite. When TechDemoSat-1 is completed, in 18 months, it will provide cost-effective ways of putting experiments into orbit so they can be developed into commercial ventures. The TechDemoSat-1 will be developed using a grant from the Technology Strategy Board and the South East England Development Agency. Read More
