Exprodat ArcGIS Training Develops E&P Careers

  • Rating12345

Exprodat Consulting’s oil and gas based GIS training courses are now included in the Association for Geographic Information’s (AGI) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme. Exprodat’s ArcGIS training courses are highly regarded by attendees and use petroleum industry workflows, data and best practice to teach E&P professionals how to leverage the power of ESRI’s ArcGIS within their projects. Now these valuable courses come with the added benefit of earning attendees CPD points.

AGI implemented the CPD plan to allow members to keep a certified and formal record of their professional development. CPD points provide everyone, including colleagues and the public, with a recognised scoring system for recording attendance at training courses and other learning exercises. Additionally, the CPD programme can be the first step on the route to a Chartered Geographer qualification, which is recognised by the Royal Geographical Society.

Each Exprodat training course comes with its own number of CPD points and more information can be found on the Exprodat website:http://www.exprodat.com/Training/Training-Programme/Courses/

Commenting on the tie up with AGI’s CPD scheme,  Jules Cullen, Exprodat’s Director of Sales and Marketing, said “E&P companies are increasingly focused on developing professional disciplines within their organisations, and the petroleum GIS sector is no different.  The accreditation of our courses with AGI’s CPD scheme enables participants to get official recognition of their skills development and helps establish a structured career development path.”
