  • Rating12345

Exprodat, the petroleum GIS services, software and training specialist and Esri Gold Partner, has appointed geospatial industry expert Steven Feldman as Non-Executive Chairman.

Feldman has huge experience of the geospatial industry garnered from leading GDC to being the country’s foremost e-government geo-solutions providers, through his time as Managing Director of MapInfo UK, to creating and managing the successful spatial consultancy KnowWhere. His mix of GIS knowledge and business savvy will be a perfect source of advice to the Exprodat board as they steer the company to further growth.

Steven explained more about why he had chosen to join the Exprodat board: “I am excited to be joining Exprodat at this stage in their development. Exprodat is a well managed, successful company working in a high value, buoyant market. There are numerous opportunities for the company and I look forward to helping Exprodat’s management team to prioritise and realise those opportunities. I am also looking forward to being involved with a team of experts who are engaged in deep level geospatial consulting and technology for mission critical business processes.”

In welcoming him, Exprodat Managing Director Gareth Smith said; “We are delighted to have secured Steven’s services as Non-Executive Chairman. Our company has doubled in size over the last two years, and we see this trend continuing. Steven’s wealth of GIS industry experience and knowledge will be invaluable to us as we enter the next phase of achieving Exprodat’s vision of becoming the leading provider of Esri-based GIS services, training and value-added products to the Energy industry.”
