Organic Environmental Law in Title VI (Research and Environmental Information), recognizes the right of every person to information on the environment. It established the creation of a registry containing environmental information biophysical, economic and social, and legal information relating to the environment, whose lead agency is the Environmental Authority.
The recorded data should be disseminated regularly and be effective means of self-query, which will coordinate with agencies and public bodies.
In this sense, the promotion and dissemination of technical information, documentary and educational environmental, will be made through the “Environmental Information System (SIA) published online as a permanent strategy of providing environmental information.
