In Nova Scotia, we believe the environment and the economy can thrive together. We believe a healthy environment is the foundation of a prosperous economy, and that a prosperous economy allows us to manage our environment wisely. Many examples of that dynamic already exist in our province and there is a vast potential for more. That’s why in April of 2007 the House of Assembly took the rare step of unanimously passing the Environmental Goals and Sustainable Prosperity Act.
