Environics Analytics Names Esri Canada Partner of the Year

  • Rating12345

Environics Analytics (EA) has named Esri Canada as its partner of the year, making the announcement at its Fifth Annual User Conference held on November 16 at the Toronto Board of Trade. Esri Canada was recognized for its long-time support and recent collaboration embedding a bundle of EA datasets—including PRIZMC2, Demographic Estimates and Projections, HouseholdSpend and the Adjusted Census—into Esri Business Analyst Desktop 10 (Canadian Edition), its geographic business analysis solution. The new version of Business Analyst offers PRIZM segmentation for customer insights, target marketing and site selection as part of the most widely used GIS solution in the world.
“Many of our partners are advancing marketing analytics with innovative work that’s worthy of recognition,” said Jan Kestle, president and founder of Environics Analytics. “But we feel that Esri Canada deserves special recognition. The company has supported our growth with tools and infrastructure since our founding. And this past year, our collaboration to add a segmentation component to Esri Business Analyst (Canadian Edition) will make it even more powerful in helping users make smarter decisions about site selection, trade area analysis and target marketing.”

The award was given at EA’s annual conference this year, which attracted more than 350 representatives from companies and not-for-profits in a range of sectors. With a conference theme of “Big Data: Harness the Power,” the day-long event featured case study presentations, a keynote address and panel discussions that highlighted best practices used to better understand customers, evaluate markets and target products and services. Among the presenters were executives and marketers from Holt Renfrew, Rogers, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook, Canada Life, Best Buy, Delvinia, Parks Canada, Environment Canada, ING Direct, the Kenna Group and the Royal Conservatory of Music.

In announcing the partner of the year award, EA’s Kestle praised Esri Canada’s executives and technical support team for their commitment to make Business Analyst the most complete geographic business analysis solution to help organizations successfully market their products and services in Canada.

“Geographic business intelligence delivers tremendous value to organizations,” says Alex Miller, president of Esri Canada. “Combining our geographic information system solution with Environics Analytics’ leading demographic data provides customers with a powerful system for researching their markets, analyzing their customers and evaluating new sites. We’re proud of this partnership and look forward to helping more organizations leverage our innovative solution to enhance their business results.”
