Emapsite Middle East Opens Second Saudi Office

  • Rating12345

A leading geospatial solutions provider is expanding its Middle East operations with the opening of its second office in Saudi Arabia. Less than a year after launch, Emapsite Middle East has opened an office in the Al Faisaliah Tower in Riyadh to add to its original base in Jameel Square, Jeddah. The company specialises in GIS and environmental monitoring with an experienced team handling consultancy, training and technical contracts with government and business clients.

Justin Saunders, International Director of Emapsite Middle East, said the expansion comes amid growing recognition in the Gulf of the importance of GIS and hi-resolution imagery integration.

Mr Saunders said: “It’s a natural step given our specialist expertise and the rising demand in the Middle East for GIS as a critical part of engineering, environmental and multidisciplinary projects. We are ideally placed to help clients recognise and follow key environmental practices. We want our work to enable government and private sector organisations to play an active part in establishing a sustainable and environmentally responsible region for generations to come.”

Emapsite Middle East was officially launched at the Gulf Environment Forum in May 2011.

The company brings together a range of experience in GIS, environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessments, habitat and ecosystems mapping, engineering and construction, and urban and infrastructure planning.

As well as GIS, Emapsite Middle East offers related geomatics tools and technologies, needs assessments, systems analysis and functional requirements for GIS applications. Services range from data collection and geocoding through to database integration and spatial analysis.

Mr Saunders added: “emapsite has worked as consultants for a diverse range of international projects. We use the latest technology for designing and implementing information management projects and systems. Emapsite Middle East continues to build on our reputation for professionalism, timely delivery and service.”

Emapsite Middle East clients include the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME), Ministry of Agriculture, Agricultural Development Fund (ADF), KPMG, SBG and Saudi ARAMCO.
