Dewberry Announces the Promotion of Keith Patterson

November 18, 2015 — Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of Keith Patterson, PSM, GISP, SP, to associate in the firm’s Tampa, Florida, office.

Patterson has more than 38 years of experience in photo interpretation, photogrammetry, environmental field work, imagery and lidar-based remote sensing, surveying, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As a licensed professional surveyor and mapper in Florida, he specializes in environmental mapping including land use/land cover, benthic habitat, wetlands, restoration monitoring, vegetation, and related natural resource mapping.

Patterson has worked extensively with Florida Water Management Districts, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and several federal agencies on projects requiring the delivery of ArcGIS geodatabases derived from aerial imagery and lidar remote sensing.

Patterson earned his bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of South Florida. He is a credentialed Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), a Virginia licensed Surveyor Photogrammetrist (SP), and a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida. He currently serves as a director of the Florida region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
