Fairfax, VA- The joint venture of Gannett Fleming and Dewberry was recently awarded a contract by the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) to provide professional engineering services for restoration, operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation projects. The SFWMD manages and protects South Florida water resources throughout a 16-county region, providing flood control, water supply planning, water quality improvement, and ecosystem restoration.
The contract provides engineering services for a variety of water and environmental projects, including those related to Everglades restoration, as well as water storage, pump stations, water control structures, dams, levees, and channel projects. The joint venture firms provide SFWMD a responsive, dedicated team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality, technically sound, and innovative design solutions within the required budget and schedule requirements.
