PTC To Acquire CoCreate For $250 Million

Amsterdam Shares Higher at Midday; TomTom Crashes on Garmin’s Tele Atlas Offer

CNN – Amsterdam shares were traded higher at midday, although TomTom crashed as rival Garmin announced an intended 24.50 eur-per-share offer for Tele Atlas. At 12.21 pm, the AEX was up 1.03 points or 0.19 pct higher at 546.28. Government bonds traded lower. TomTom provided the story of the day, falling 14.58 pct to 57.90

REL to Transfer Infrastructure Projects to Separate Arm

PR – The Reliance Energy (REL) board on Tuesday approved a proposal to transfer its infrastructure projects to a separate wholly-owned subsidiary. REL’s infrastructure portfolio consists of roads, bridges, metro rail and real estate projects. The assets transferring will be subject to regulatory approvals, REL said in a statement. Infotech Enterprises Opens Tech Development Centre in Bangalore

Hyderabad-based IT services firm Infotech Enterprises opened its 1,500-seat development centre in Bangalore. Americans Prefer to Spend More on Mass Transit and Highway Maintenance, Less on New Roads

Three-fourths of Americans surveyed believe that either being smarter about development or improving public transportation are both better long-term solutions for reducing traffic congestion than building new roads, according to a survey sponsored by the National Association of Realtors and Smart Growth America.
