Russia: Satellite Launch Plans

SCANEX R&D – By mid 2007, 12 satellites have been launched with the Earth observation instruments for different purposes (Table 1.) China and Japan are the leaders (2 satellites each) in the number of Earth remote sensing satellites launched. India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Russia and Germany launched one satellite each.

Intermap Technologies Awarded $2.2 M Mapping Contract

Herculean Project Develops Extreme Engines

An EU project has developed technologies to take on the twin challenges of reducing the fuel consumed and CO2 emitted by marine diesel engines.
