Blom has made new appointments and taken the important decision to restructure its business to strengthen the company and to enable profitable expansion. The reorganisation will allow the business to become more competitive both on an international and local level. With the installation of the GNSS Reference Station Network BiHPOS, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) sets the preconditions for a modern approach to accurate land measuring and land parceling. The European Union financed network consists of 34 reference stations and two control centers, a unique installation that brings together two regions in BiH.

During a visit to South America, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden Thursday signed two cooperative Earth science agreements with Agencia Espacial Brasileira (AEB), NASA’s counterpart space agency in Brazil. One agreement formalizes NASA-AEB scientific collaboration on the Global Precipitation Measurement, or GPM, mission, while the other extends an agreement for the Ozone Cooperation Mission.

The Ordnance Survey’s (OS) small- and midscale OS OpenData products have been included in Esri’s World Topographic Map, the crowdsourced map at the foundation of Esri’s Community Maps program. The map service can be accessed from the basemap gallery in ArcGIS Online.
