The Cannon Power Group, a Del Mar, CA-based wind power developer,said it has closed a $547 million deal to provide electricity for 20 years to the Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA), a group of municipal utilities throughout the Los Angeles region. Cannon says the deal is believed to be the largest transaction of its kind.
