Brazil – Guarani Aquifer Have Unified Information System

The National Water Agency (ANA) will finalize the National Node of the information system of the Guarani Aquifer in up to six months. This is the term for operating the server on which the ANA will bring together all the information for monitoring the Guarani aquifer, as the data about wells supplied by the Brazilian states that comprise the aquifer (São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Goiás , Minas Gerais, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul). In future, this Brazilian National Node will be interconnected with the node’s national information system of other countries that comprise the Guarani aquifer: Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
