  • Rating12345

As the nation and world develop strategies to respond to precipitation changes and potential worsening and increased frequency of heat waves and drought forecast as a result of climate change, the environmental information derived from space-based satellites has become increasingly important.  The view of Earth from space enabled by Alliant Techsystems (ATK) — the newest member of the Alliance for Earth Observations — is vital to collecting the data decision-makers and policymakers need to cope with the challenges of climate change and transition to a green economy.
