The Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN) is committed to joining IUFRO and other key organisations worldwide to ensure that forests are managed sustainably for current and future generations. APN scientific research and capacity development activities in response to the challenges in the forestry sector under the broad umbrella of global environmental change will be showcased at the IUFRO 23rd World Congress 2010 – “Forests for the Future: Sustaining Society and the Environment” that will take place in Seoul, Republic of Korea, 22-28 August 2010.
