Broadwind Energy Opens Office in Hamburg, Germany

Broadwind Energy, Inc. today announced that it has opened an office in Hamburg, Germany, and named Michael Stegelmann as managing director of Broadwind Energy Europe GmbH. “Many turbine manufacturers have engineering offices in the Hamburg area, and this new office will enable us to keep pace with rapidly evolving wind turbine technology,” said Lars Moller, president of technology and international at Broadwind. “We are pleased that Michael Stegelmann has joined Broadwind. He brings deep wind industry expertise and will help us stay close to existing and new customers both in Europe and Asia.
