MINNEAPOLIS – Today, Sentera is excited to announce expanded beta availability of the Real-Time Mapping (RTM) feature for the FieldAgent Aerial Scouting iOS app. In just seconds, RTM provides high-quality map products, at the field edge, with no internet connection required, further supporting Sentera’s commitment to deliver the best set of tools for identifying issues in the field.
Real-Time Mapping joins Sentera’s growing list of fast, edge-based capabilities that our customers can use to generate insights efficiently and engage more closely with their customers and partners.
“For technology to be useful in agriculture, we all know it must be timely,” said Eric Taipale, CEO of Sentera. “FieldAgent Real-Time Mapping enables agronomic professionals to make timely, effective decisions in the field with no need for an internet connection.”
In 2017, Sentera released a real-time NDVI product. In 2019, the company released a real-time implementation of their stand, emergence, and seed performance analytics, a capability that also does not require connectivity. Last year, the team developed and released the edge-based execution of several advanced machine learning-based analytics for enterprise customers.
