ForestSAT 2012 is the 5th in a series of international conferences promoting scientifically based understanding of how spatial analysis technologies can help describe and monitor forested systems. ForestSAT 2012 will be held on the Oregon State University campus in beautiful Corvallis (Oregon, USA) and is the first ForestSAT outside of western Europe. Previous conferences were held in Spain (2010), France (2007), Sweden (2005), and Scotland (2002). Delegates typically represent research organizations, universities, agencies, and the private sector. Situated 90 miles (145km) south of Portland, an hour from the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Coast, and nestled in the heart of the agriculturally abundant Willamette River Valley, Corvallis is the perfect home
base for exploring the Pacific Northwest’s natural and cultural wonders. Read More
