CHANTILLY, Va.- OGSystems (OGS), a leader in technology innovation for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC), today announced the appointment of Peter LaMontagne, former CEO of Novetta, to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

LaMontagne is an accomplished private equity sponsored tech solutions company CEO, most recently at the helm of Novetta, Inc., an advanced analytics technology company he led from its establishment in 2012 through the first quarter of 2017. LaMontagne has more than 17 years of national security and technology solutions experience in the federal and commercial marketplace.
OGSystems stood up its Board of Directors in 2014 when it entered into a partnership with General Catalyst Partners. Through the relationship with General Catalyst, OGSystems has built a strategy around personnel development, gaining a better understanding of the commercial world and how the company can bring this innovative approach to effecting change in the DoD and IC.
LaMontagne joins the four additional board members in advising OGSystems leadership in recruitment, investment and employee development. As the company continues to scale, LaMontagne is an ideal fit for the company’s board of directors adding experience in leadership, strategic capability and technology development.
Prior to Novetta, LaMontagne served as president, CEO and director of Paradigm Solutions, a cyber security solutions company that focused on digital forensics and malware reverse engineering. He is also a former senior vice president at ManTech International Corporation, where he was on the executive team that took company public successfully in 2002. He was responsible for a government-wide information assurance and IT systems life cycle management business.
LaMontagne worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer specializing in China affairs for eight years after graduating magna cum laude from Bowdoin College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Government/Legal Studies.
