  • Rating12345

September 18, 2015 — We live in a 3D world and like to explore it in 3D too. With Esri ArcGIS, your organization has the ability to visualize and analyze 3D geographic information and share that information with others who want to understand change and plans in a real-world context.

To learn about the 3D GIS capabilities in the ArcGIS platform, tune in to the live training seminar Sharing 3D Content with ArcGIS on September 24, 2015. You will get an overview of the latest 3D tools, techniques, and viewing environments in ArcGIS. You will also learn how to view and create striking 3D maps and scenes on the desktop and to easily share them online.

You also will see a preview of ArcGIS Earth, an app that will make it easy to visualize 2D and 3D spatial information on a globe in 3D. Esri will release ArcGIS Earth in the near future.

After viewing the seminar, you will understand how to

  • Work with 3D layers in the ArcGIS Pro app in ArcGIS for Desktop and share the layers in ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Create 3D scenes in a browser using the built-in capability in the ArcGIS Online web scene viewer.
  • Use the ArcGIS Earth app to visualize and understand KML data and other enterprise 2D and 3D data.

GIS professionals and others who want to create and share 3D geographic content will find this live training seminar highly useful and educational.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login at the top right, and register your name and email address.
