For weary commuters fed up with the long journey to work, the answer often seems to be to move closer to the workplace. But a new service, Mapumental, shows that it’s often just as quick or even speedier to travel into city centres from the suburbs. Mapumental, a tech start up founded by mySociety, allows househunters to see, at a glance, which areas of the city fall within given timebands on a public transport commute.
