Exprodat Launches New Offsite Spatial Data Management Service

Exprodat, the oil and gas services, software and training supplier, has created Exprodat Offsite; a cloud-based service that allows oil and gas companies to benefit from Exprodat’s expertise in managing spatial data, no matter where they are in the world.

Since the company’s formation, the Exprodat team has been working with oil and gas companies to improve their E&P workflows using GIS technology. The key to reaping the benefits of this technology is the skilled management of the spatial data. With the development of Exprodat Offsite, this vital task can now be done through remote access.

Exprodat Offsite means that oil & gas companies can access and benefit from using spatial data that they know has been rigorously audited in line with industry standard best practices. Also, since the applications that they use to access the data are hosted in the cloud, Exprodat Offsite customers will always be using the latest software releases.
