Open Review of “Climate Change for Forest Policy Makers”

Countries are faced with the new challenges of adjusting forest policy and management practices to address Climate Change, while maintaining a balance with the many other objectives of forest management. FAO and the NFP-Facility are working to support countries in efforts to integrate climate change into their national forest programmes or forest policy framework. A main part of this effort is the development of a guide for policymakers.

We hereby invite you to review the zero draft of the “Climate Change for Forest Policy Makers – An approach for integrating climate change into national forest programmes in support of sustainable forest management”.

This review is an opportunity for all interested parties to contribute to the preperation of the guide. The deadline for comments are 20 June 2011.
