HP to Demonstrate Wide Format Printing Technology at Intergeo

  • Rating12345

HP announced today that it will showcase key products from its wide format digital inkjet printing portfolio at Intergeo 2011, Hall 7 Stand F31, 27-29 September, Nuremberg, Germany. HP will focus on its feature-rich HP Designjet printing technology which enables AEC, GIS, and MCAD professionals to perform more effectively, thanks to faster setup times, minimised manual operations and increased processing speeds.

Among HP’s line-up will be the HP Designjet T2300 eMultifunction (eMFP) Printer. As the world’s first web-enabled printing system with MFP benefits, the T2300 revolutionises the way architects and design professionals manage their design workflow by matching today’s collaborative and mobile work styles.

The T2300 enables easy, one-click scanning of sketches and hand-annotated drawings, which can then be shared with design teams via scanning directly to a USB drive, or uploading to the web from the printer’s colour touch screen using HP ePrint & Share.(1) The HP Designjet T2300 eMFP will also be demonstrated by reseller, Ernst Mendel GmbH, on the Autodesk stand (Hall 7, D75).

Also part of HP’s product portfolio on show in Nuremberg will be:

·       The HP Designjet T7100 Printer, which eases and accelerates printing – from simple CAD drawings to high-quality presentations – while keeping costs down. The printer offers speeds of up to 165 A1/D prints per hour and boasts a competitively low total cost of ownership compared to more costly devices that print only in monochrome and light-emitting diode (LED) technologies.

·       The HP Designjet T1300 PostScript®  ePrinter, which is geared to suit the needs of medium CAD-GIS groups and offers up to 44in (111.8cm) wide printing for up to two D-sized/A1 prints per minute. The intuitive and web-connected T1300, which will be shown with an HD scanner, also offers two-roll configuration with smart switching capability to deliver higher productivity to users.

Completing the wide-ranging line-up at Intergeo will be the HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer and HP Designjet Z5200 PostScript® Printer. The Z6200 runs HP Vivid Photo Inks and enables fast production of maps, landscapes and aerial photography. At 140m²/hr, the printer offers the highest speeds of large format printers in its price class.(2)

Alongside the HP Designjet Z6200, the HP Designjet Z5200 PostScript® Printer is a low-cost photo production printer ideal for copyshops entering into large format printing.

HP will be joined on its stand by the following partners: Kisters AG, Aachen; Obergfell GmbH, Eschbronn-Locherhof; AMCAD & Rauch GmbH, Dresden; Macron GmbH, Berlin; and Kaut-Bullinger Büro-Systemhaus GmbH, Taufkirchen.
