EUROGI and the Seminar on Development Cooperation

A Seminar and a Workshop on Development Cooperation – Geoinformation for Sustainable Development will take place, respectively, on October 11 and 12 in Brussels.

The main aim of the events is to raise awareness regarding the important role which geo-information can play in supporting sustainable development in developing countries. The seminar will for example interrogate how geoinformation can be used to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in the planning and management of development cooperation programmes such as those of the European Union.

EUROGI has played a key role in setting up both the seminar and workshop.
